Stay Human You Animal! is a live theatre series starring Fred Cavair Robinson (and 8 Special Guests), featured in 10 short plays about personal experiences and perspectives with original songs and stories about growing up Black, Queer, and Weird in the “wild.”

SHYA! is the fools journey from boyhood to “masculine sissy.” It isn’t told behind a 4th wall though. It’s structure is dictated by a random audience members pull from the stone bowl of fate with opportunities for everyone to join in different performances.

After a packed preview at Theo Ubique’s WinterFest 2025 and a DCASE 2025 Grant, STAY HUMAN YOU ANIMAL! is back with 8 new shows featuring updated plays, new special guests, and the same zesty nonsense.
